Innovative assessment practice across the disciplines
28 May 2004 - University of Edinburgh
This workshop, organised in support of this year's Scottish Quality Enhancement theme of assessment, will present examples of innovative assessment practice from four discipline areas (provisionally Medicine, History, Law, Philosophy/Religious Studies and the Social Sciences). It will then offer participants the opportunity to take part in small group discussions, to consider the transferability of these methods to their own disciplines and to share existing discipline-specific assessment practice. The workshop is open to anyone interested in assessment practice although it is primarily aimed at the Scottish HE sector. Attendees from the rest of the UK are, however, welcome and also encouraged to register.
