If we are to discuss how to share best (or 'good', which I think is the
preferred term in the UK), could we also discuss how we know it is best (or
good)? I've seen far more things designated good practice than I have seen
explanations of why they are to be so regarded, and I'm coming to the view
that the term is too often used to close down discussion -- which might be
one reason why there are difficulties in sharing it!
