The Centre for Academic and Professional Development at Queen Mary University of London is seeking to appoint a freelance consultant to support senior QMUL staff applying for Senior and Principal Fellowships of the Higher Education Academy through our ADEPT Advanced initiative.
QMUL has a major strategic commitment to ensuring that 100% of QMUL staff who teach have achieved or are working towards a teaching qualification or HEA Fellowship by 2018-19. As part of this commitment, the QMUL ADEPT Advanced scheme has an annual target of SFHEA and PFHEA recognition. This role will provide support for QMUL to achieve the 2015-16 target of 30 SFHEA and up to 10 PFHEA by 31st July 2016.
The role is offered from mid March to the end of July 2016 and available on a freelance consultative basis. The successful candidate will need to offer up to 35 days of consultancy. Competitive remuneration will be offered.
The role will suit a senior academic developer in higher education, with significant recent experience of HEA accreditation and D3 and D4 accreditation processes and panels, together with SFHEA or PFHEA recognition. The successful candidate will also need to able to work flexibly and to arrange regular visits to QMUL’s five London campuses.
