Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the EDC Executive and Conference host the University of Manitoba, I'm pleased to announce that we are now accepting proposals for the 2015 EDC Conference.
We hope that you will join us in Winnipeg, Manitoba from February 11 ¡V 13, 2015 and consider submitting a proposal to lead a session. The call for proposals and submission form can be downloaded from the conference website (http://www.edc2015.ca/) and the EDC website (http://www.stlhe.ca/constituencies/educational-developers-caucus/edc-conferences).
Please note that the deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, Oct 3, 2014
The theme for the 2015 conference is Reflecting on our Leap Beyond the Evidence, and we are pleased to welcome RoseAnna Schick as the 2015 keynote speaker. RoseAnna Schick took a life-changing leap in 2001, for the History Television series Quest for the Bay. Part of an eight-person team selected to reenact an 1840¡¬s York boat trip, RoseAnna rowed, dragged, pushed, pulled, carried, hauled and hoisted for nine weeks, from Winnipeg to the Hudson Bay.
If you have any questions or comments about the call for proposals or the review process, please do not hesitate to contact me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Looking forward to seeing you in Winnipeg!
