We are currently recruiting for a manager for our AHRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership - the Midlands 3 Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M3C DTP). Salary £36,661 to £45,053
The M3C DTP is a consortium involving six Midlands Universities (the University of Nottingham in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, Birmingham City University, the University of Birmingham, De Montfort University & the University of Leicester). It has been awarded £14.6 million by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to deliver innovative and world-leading research training for five cohorts of Arts and Humanities doctoral students between 2014 and 2021. Institutional match funding brings the total budget to c. £30 million.
The manager will have a complex and demanding role and the post requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can demonstrate the ability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. They will also require considerable project management experience with the proven ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously; good financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets in line with university and the AHRC’s requirements. The role holder will be supported by a team of 1.8 FTE (DTP Administrator, Placements and Relationships Officer, Finance Officer) and will be responsible for their management.
