Hi Annamarie
A colleague had this to suggest:
" I would recommend Training Journal's course Advanced Learning Needs Analysis (though the course was held in London). It was interesting and well-structured. However, it does not look like they have a course coming up anytime soon. http://www.trainingjournal.com/ May be she can call and find out - if she's interested?"
Hope it's helpful.
All best

Subject: Training needs analysis
Hello All,
This is my first post on SEDA, so apologies if this is not an area the SEDA community can help with, but I thought I would give it a try:
As an ex-Academic Developer, now Learning and Development Facilitator (our Faculty of Learning and Teaching has recently been reconfigured and is now integrated with Learning and Development, the training and development 'arm' of our HR Department), I am currently trying to focus on the skills I need to be an effective Learning and Development Facilitator. It has been suggested that I should now go on a course in 'Needs Analysis' to enable me to sit with academic/department heads and analyse training needs. I therefore wondered whether anyone in the SEDA community knows of any external providers that would provide this sort of training. I would also be interested to hear from anyone out there who might be going through a similar acculturation process.
Many thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.
Kind regards
Annamarie McKie
