Dear SEDA list members,
I am engaged in a SEDA funded small research project looking at the involvement and roles of staff and education developers within the teaching - research nexus. However, I am also interested in the roles that staff and education developers play, or might potentially play, within the promotion and development of research practice amongst academics more generally.
Much of the project will consist of interviews with academics and with staff and education developers who have worked with academics around the promotion and development of their research. However, prior to this stage I am interested in getting a wider overview of these issues. To this end I have designed a very short online survey. It is not limited to staff and education developers only with experience of working with academics on research, some questions cover opinions about these issues as well. I would be really grateful if you could take a few minutes to respond to the survey as I am hoping for as wide a response as possible.
The link for the survey is given below. Please could you copy and paste or type this into your browser window if you wish to take part in the survey.
