I have been working on a small scale study of healthcare tutors'
understandings of reflective writing, trying to find out what
expectations tutors have of students' reflective writing. I know that
there is a mass of literature on reflective practice and reflective
writing but I am having problems finding recent studies that explore
tutors' constructions of reflective writing. I'm particularly interested
in studies in the healthcare professions.
One issue that has arisen in my study is the difficulties students have
with reflective writing. Again, I've had problems finding research
studies that investigate students' perceptions of reflective writing.
