Aims of this event
The University of Ulster is organising its fifth annual all-Ireland
e-learning conference, to be held at the Jordanstown campus on Thursday
18th January 2007. The aim of the conference is to raise awareness of
the benefits of using on-line technologies in teaching, learning and
assessment. The conference will address themes associated with the
creation, support and development of an e-learning community, with
particular emphasis on the impact of e-learning. It will be of
particular interest to those charged with:
- the introduction and promotion of e-learning within their institution
or organisation;
- the development of e-learning related skills for staff;
- the development of course material for e-learning routes;
- the transition of material and courses to an e-learning medium;
- the support of e-learning, including library and resource centres.
