lifecycle

Presenters: John Casey & Kevin Brosnan, University of Stirling
John Casey is the Project Officer of the L2L project. He is also the author
of 'Intellectual Property Rights In Networked E-Learning - A Beginners Guide
for Content Developers', due to be published by JISC Legal Information.
Kevin Brosnan is the Project Manager of the L2L Project, which has been
involved in IPR issues and planning.
The L2L project is part of the JISC funded X4L programme exploring
technical, practical and educational factors associated with reuse of
learning materials. IPR issues and how to manage them are emerging as major
challenges to the development of reuse in e-learning.
Workshop Description:
The workshop will examine the practical and strategic issues involved in
dealing with IPR in this environment, especially how it can affect the
design and development lifecycle of content and course production.
