Dear SEDA mailbase owner,
The Open University, Centre for Higher Education Practice would like to
inform SEDA mailbase members that we have advertised posts for part time
associate lecturers. Our deadline for applications is 14th June.
We wanted to ask you if you would consider the following message as
appropriate to forward to members through the mailbase.

Invitation to apply for a post as Associate Lecturer for the
Centre for Higher Education Practice (CeHEP), The Open University
As a SEDA mailbase member you may be interested in becoming a part-time
Associate Lecturer to tutor on our courses. We have vacancies for:
* H851 Teaching in Higher Education (30 point)
* H852 Course Design in Higher Education (30 point), and
* H850 Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (60 point)
Tutor workload for The Open University courses varies from course to
course and is generally estimated to be around 7 hours a week for a 60
point course and 3.5 for a 30 point course. Tutoring is through
computer conferencing only.
Applicants should be teachers in higher education and, ideally, hold
SEDA teacher accreditation. We expect that those who are appointed to
tutor H852 and H850 will have particular experience in course design as
well as teaching in higher education.
Our closing date for applicants is 14th June, 1999. For more details
and application forms please contact Bernadette Shaw at The Open
University, North Region Office in Newcastle 0191 284 6987 or
