Dear SEDA folks,
Apologies that I was due to send the reminder for this almost at exactly the same moment I was dumped off this list along with quite a few others so it got lost as a timely task. I am stealing Julie Rattray's text to another list below but (partly because of a lot of similar confusions and list problems) we are not averse to people letting us know they need longer to send in an abstract and have extended the deadline to next Monday (23rd).
Fuller information is on the blog or drop me a line.
<Julie's text begins>:
We have extended the deadline for submissions to the next tc conference to be held in Australia in July 2023. The new deadline is 23 January and I have included the link below. We really hope that this will give those of you who were hoping to submit a little more time as it would be great to celebrate 20 years of threshold concepts with you all in the summer/winter – depending on where you are.
We appreciate that for some this represent a long journey but it would be so good to see as many of you as possible and re-energise what have always been such enjoyable discussions about a topic we are all invested in.
I think threshold work is changing and as our work develops we are opening up new and increasingly interesting ways to think about Thresholds and I for one am excited to see what new ideas the next conference will bring so please do submit your ideas if you can. If anyone wants to submit but is struggling with the deadline please do get in touch with me as we may be able to help.
