Hi
We have different routes to achieve fellowship so we would most probably steer the staff member to the other roots. It is a condition of achieving upon employment. Has the member of staff had enough support throughout the programme from their personal tutor? This is a key part of our programme as this echos the structure of the programmes that our staff will deliver.
For any staff member to fail we would need to be sure that we have tried every avenue of support including extension and deferrals before admitting defeat. This would involve line manager and mentor involvement as the staff member would be flagged as at risk before possible discussion of a failure.
Has there been a series of tutorial and 1:1's for the staff member or is this a case of non-engagement with the programme?
Cheers
