Dear Colleagues, I hope this may be of interest to you (and apologies for x-posting)
The deadline for receiving contributions for the 17th annual Academic Practice and Technology (APT) 2019 conference is next Monday, 13th May 2019.
"The changing roles of educators in higher and further education: the shape of teaching today" is co-hosted by University College London (UCL), the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of Greenwich.
APT 2019 will critique, showcase and celebrate examples of academic practice that can inspire academic and professional services staff, working in higher education, to develop sustainable approaches to their teaching. Delegates will address critical questions such as: How can we help our students to thrive in the face of a buffeting digital maelstrom?; Where can technology create distinctive possibilities?; Where might it actually hinder learning?
Contributions can be in the form of presentations, workshops, case studies and field reports. A description of the 4 themes that underpin this year's conference can be found at: https://aptconference.org.uk/index.php/apt/apt2019/schedConf/themes
The conference proposal form is available from https://aptconference.org.uk/index.php/apt/apt2019/schedConf/cfp. You may contact the organisers by e-mail at: [log in to unmask] up to the submission deadline to discuss potential contributions.
Tweets comprising quotes from current and past international keynote speakers framing this year’s conference can be viewed at #aptconf
On behalf of the conference organising team,
Kind regards
Simon
