Dear Dalene
At Greenwich we run a 1 year PGCert which is online for the most part (but with 4 Saturday study days - Sept/ Oct/ Jan/ April) on campus for UK participants http://www.gre.ac.uk/pg/eduhea/hep
This is open to non Greenwich staff and starts each year in September.
We also run a 20 (M level) credit + non credit professional portfolio course called the Award in LTHE http://www.gre.ac.uk/pg/eduhea/awa-cre designed for those with limited HE level teaching or those who have student facing/ teaching responsibilities alongside another role (e.g. librarians) or for those with professional quals but no undergraduate degree (e.g. some paramedics) - this is concentrated sept- Dec but the portfolio extends it the full year and it also enables them to progress to the PGCert in year 2 (most work concentrated in Jan- April), effectively making it a 2 year PGCert option. It is run on the same lines as the PGCert with 2 study days and shares the first PGCert module
best wishes
Martin
