Dear all,
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the University of Chester is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified colleagues in the role of external verifier for our annual UKPSF review panel meeting, which will take place on Tuesday 5th July. The role of the external verifier is to
review the processes for making professional recognition decisions across all HEA accredited provision;
view a sample of professional recognition decisions from all HEA accredited provision, where decisions have been made in that academic year;
make recommendations for process enhancements for future professional recognition decisions, subject to HEA approval if appropriate;
write a short report on the above for dissemination within the University.
A fee of £300 is payable on receipt of the report, in addition to reimbursement of associated travel, subsistence and accommodation costs.
Applicants should hold Principal or Senior Fellowship of the HEA and have experience of running a PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or equivalent qualification accredited against the UKPSF.
Please send expressions of interest, accompanied by a CV, to Dr Kate Litherland ([log in to unmask]) by next Wednesday, 29th June.
