Dear SEDA colleagues,
You will no doubt be aware that the HEA NTF scheme has been launched again and they have also developed a new scheme CATE which are collaborative awards for teaching excellence.
The Association of national teaching Fellows has organised in collaboration with the HEA A series of regional workshops in England Wales and Northern Ireland led by NTFS for people who are interested in being put forward by their institutions on how the scheme works how you can maximise your chances of achieving NTF status. HEIs in Scotland interested in participated in the scheme should contact the HEA.
At these workshops, HEA colleagues are also going to introduce the new collaborative awards which are being piloted this year.
The deadlines for submissions are tight, so these regional workshops are imminent! The first one in Leeds takes place next week and there are others following in May and June in London, Bath, Manchester, Newcastle, Ulster, Bangor and Southampton.
See the HEA website for booking details. There are only 30 places available at each event, so if you would like to attend please book soon.
Best wishes
Sally Brown
Chair of the Association of National Teaching Fellows
