Hello everyone, I've been asked to do a piece of work on contact time i.e. how
many for a 20 credit module and how do you define them in your institutions?
I realise there are disciplinary differences and probably level differences, but
do any of you provide guidance for institutional colleagues, and if so, what?
Secondly, is anyone aware of any academic studies? I'm aware of the
self-directed / independent learning work done via the HEA and the QAA guidance,
but I've also seen reference to a study in the Netherlands, but not sure where
to find it.
