Educational Staff Development Manager
The Leeds Institute of Medical Education is responsible for ensuring a high quality medical education for undergraduates at Leeds as well as ensuring that that Leeds School of Medicine is at the cutting edge of innovation and research in Medical Education.
You will lead, develop, co-ordinate and deliver programmes of staff development activity for Medical Educators both clinical and non-clinical. The development of training programmes for differing groups of professionals including the NHS, academics, administrative staff, service users, and students will require you to have highly developed interpersonal and presentational skills. Demonstration of tact and sensitivity will allow you to work with a wide range of staff across professions and organisations both regionally and nationally. An understanding and working knowledge of Technology Enhanced Learning is advantageous.
Educated to Masters Level or with equivalent experience, you will develop training materials have the ability to affect change with tact and sensitivity and have experience of partnership working across multiple organisations.
You will be based on the University of Leeds campus, but there will be visits to other sites and some national travel.
University Grade 7 (£30,424 - £36,298) depending on qualifications and experience
