Dear John,
This book "In at the Deep End" was produced at Lancaster University some time ago and I have given copies that we still had to postgrads who teach:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=0901800902&x=0&y=0
Some of them have suggested that it would be good to have some more up-to-date case stories, so sounds like a vote for your idea! If you do go ahead with this and make it available on the web, like Ceri, I would very much like to link to it.
Best wishes
Susan

Hi John
This looks good to me; when you have finished it are you going to put it on the web? I would like to be able to link through to it from our CPD website.
Best, Ceri

Dear Colleagues,
I'm working on a little booklet for people just starting out in HE teaching at my place, particularly PhD students, and I found myself playing with the idea of `things to think about', based on that old `53 ways' idea (or was it 50 ways to leave your lover?), but this time based on the magic number `7'. It's ended up as `77 things to think about...'
If anyone out there has the time or inclination I'd be interested in what you make of it - is it a sensible idea; what have I got wrong; what have I missed; what would you have included, etc., etc. ??? And happy to forward on the finished product if anyone would be interested???
Thanks
John
