Apologies if you get this message twice.
I've been asked to put together a little advice booklet for students on
'taught' Masters programmes here at Leeds Met. There's all sorts of good
stuff around for postgraduate study in general terms, but not a lot of
down-to-earth practical advice for students on 'taught' masters
programmes.
I'd like to have a stab at addressing 'frequently asked questions'
(dillemmas), with starters like 'what can I do when...?', 'how do I cope
with...?' and so on. I'd like the questions (and responses) all to be in
straightforward English, not least so the booklet will be useful for
Masters students whose first language is not English.
If you've got a minute or two to furnish me with some questions, I'll be
most grateful.
If you're blessed with more spare time (or need a good reason for not
going to a committee meeting) and would like to draft a single paragraph
response to one or more such questions, I'd be even more grateful.
If this all works out, in due course I'd like to put the final booklet up
on my website (free) for anyone to use as appropriate.
I look forward to your responses. If you're willing for your contributions
to appear with attribution, please indicate this at the end of your reply.
