Dear Colleagues
The GEES Subject Centre will be holding its Summer Residential
Conference at the George Hotel in central Edinburgh, 2-3 July 2008. This
year's theme is 'Employability, Employer Engagement and Enterprise' -
all priority agendas for the GEES disciplines and for HE as a whole.
Keynote speakers will include Hugh Tollyfield (Special Advisor on
Employer Engagement for HEFCE), Dr Paul Redmond (Head of Careers and
Employability, University of Liverpool), Prof Pauline Kneale (Enterprise
CETL, University of Leeds), Matthew Parker (Graduate Recruiter, KPMG)
and Prof Pat James (University of South Australia).
Please be aware that the first 100 places are heavily subsidised by the
GEES Subject Centre, so we recommend registering early. Registration
will close on 5th June 2008.
