Dear colleagues,
The SEDA south-west regional research seminar is being held at the University of Exeter on Wednesday 9th July. It's for anyone who is interested in learning more about research into educational / academic development. Participants are also invited to share any research ideas (however embryonic) or discuss findings (interim or final) in an informal, friendly environment.
Do you work with other academic staff to support learning and teaching in a changing environment?
Are you based in, or work with, an educational development unit or LTSN Subject Centre, or are you involved in a learning and teaching project or work as a Faculty L&T co-ordinator?
Are you supporting academic staff to look to pedagogic research to inform their practice and want to know more about the evidence-base for your educational / academic development work?
Are you being encouraged to engage in research but aren't sure how to map it to your work with academic staff?
If the answer to any of the above questions is 'yes' then the SEDA south-west regional research seminar is for you!
If the answer to all of the above questions is 'no' then come along anyway and get some good discussion going!
For more information or to register see the SEDA web-site (http://www.seda.ac.uk) or contact me (details below).
Hope to see you there!
Helen
