Dear Colleagues,
Many of the LTSN Subject Centres have been running small-scale learning and teaching development and research projects over the last three years. Many of us are now at the point where we wish to formally reflect on the outcomes, processes and rationales for these projects in order to better inform our planning for the future.
I am very aware that many HEIs also provide small awards for learning and teaching projects, and I thought it might be interesting for us all to share our experiences of running this type of activity. If you are in the process of evaluating your small-scale learning and teaching projects and would like to share the general results with other colleagues please complete the attached pro forma and return it to me by Friday 21st November. Your responses will remain entirely confidential but will serve to provide a comparison of practice.
I will be convening a meeting / workshop sometime after Easter for Subject Centres and HEIs, by which time most formal evaluations will be complete, to share evaluation results and discuss the implications for running projects in the future. Again, confidentiality will be assured within the workshop participants but a general overview (anonymising specific contributors) may be made public to support other's work in this area.
Please feel free to contact me if you require any further information.
Best wishes,
Helen
