A date for the diary - June 18th 2009
West Yorkshire Aimhigher are holding a conference on Transition and
Retention on June 18th at Leeds Trinity and All Saints. The keynote speaker
will be Professor Liz Thomas, lead adviser with Action on Access and senior
adviser for widening participation at the HE Academy.
Liz leads nationally on the Paul Hamlyn funded retention grants programme
and has led and managed research in the field of student retention and
success for many years.
There will be a wide range of workshops sharing practice from HEIs, FE
Colleges and schools.
