Thanks for your post to LDHEN. I have looked at your writing on skills several times in the past few years. As you probably gathered from the document I circulated earlier, I have serious criticisms of 'key' or 'generic' skills approaches to teaching/learning activities. In looking at your work on the Graduate Identity approach and relational perspectives, it occurs to me that it may be helpful to members of our network to discuss whether/how your approach might apply to/impact on the kinds of study skills work that many of us do, and help us develop our thinking in the ongoing debate about 'embedding' our work ... and beyond ...
I wonder if other members have looked at Len's work? Do we understand him? What might his ideas mean for what we do and who we are?
