Dear John,
Thank you for all your hard work with setting up and administering
LDHEN. You are welcome to, and deserve, this very small profit even
though it bears no relation to the time you have spent and can only be a
gesture of our appreciation. Have a great vacation.
Judy

Dear All
Sorry this a boring message and not a response to the recent 'skills'
contributions - still have not had time to properly read those !!
This is to say that I've just spent most of today finally sorting the
LDHEN accounts and think all is now more or less settled. To those who
wanted a receipt there is one in the post - let me know if you've not
received it by early Jan.
For those who needed invoices, I have sent one to you by snail mail -
please ensure you complete the relevant details and pass on to
whomsoever can pay it.
If everyone who owes us actually pays, after catering and general
expenses there should still be about two hundred pounds left over. When
all cheques and payments are in, I am going to put in a claim for my
time in organising and administering the conference - I will, however,
only claim the balance after expenses - i.e. I will not seek to claim
any money that LDHEN does not have in its account. I would appreciate
it if members would accept this rather informal arrangement - but if
anyone has any objection, please let me know. I have actually put in
rather a lot of hours but would not expect to claim them all - a token
payment, however, would be welcome!
Seasonal wishes to you all
John
