Here at sunny Bradford:
1. Peter Hughes, NTF with particular interests in sustainable development,
joins us next month and we've put this topic into next year's staff
development programme.
2. Diversity is one of the main strands in our LTA strategy and we have an
implementation working group now established, chaired by the leading
Professor in this area. Happy to share further details.

Subject: Global Perspectives
Dear LDHENers
Here at Bournemouth University we are developing an approach to dealing with
Global Perspectives and issues of sustainability in the curriculum. This is
led by a Global Perspectives Steering Group chaired at Pro Vice Chancellor
level. We also have an equality and diversity steering group chaired at
Head of School level. In my School, we also currently have funding from
the Royal Academy of Engineers which is funding a visiting professor to work
with us over 3 years to help develop sustainable development into the
curriculum.
We thought it might be useful to find out what other istitutions are doing
in this area, and if you know of any initiatives that are taking place in
your university it could be really helpful perhaps to share this
information?
Best wishes
Chris
