At this stage, I don't think we're ready to be reviewing resources yet -
more a case of setting up systems and frameworks for the resources. With
this in mind, can you hold on to the pre-induction stuff and we'll return
to this later? For now, I'd be really pleased if you could talk to an
agenda item called "Basing student learning support on research evidence."
- this is centrally important and I got the idea from an earlier email you
sent concerning your PhD research (I quote the central text here, if you
can't remember: "Supporting student learning will feature heavily in terms
of using the research to ensure that student support we do offer actually
"hits the spot" ie is evidence based and not simply based on anecdotal or
other similar evidence.")
