Yes - this is a lovely topic!
We at London Met have included students in our processes not least by
getting real students to devise and run our Get Ahead student
conference - last year's video easily found from here:
http://learning.londonmet.ac.uk/epacks/studyhub/cool.html This year
we are hoping to run another Get Ahead devised and run by another
Events Management student...
We are exploring a 'Real Dissertations' initiative. We want to invite
Education Studies students, initially, both UG and PG to bid for a
CELT bursary for a Dissertation upon a topic of real educational
interest.
We hope that the best bit of this project will be the help that we can
offer the students involved to turn their dissertations into articles
and papers to submit to our own Learning and Teaching Conference and
*Investigations Journal* and to ALDinHE of course.
I would be happy to discuss ideas with others as well - is this an
ALDinHE CPD Day perhaps?
Best,
Sandra
