So sorry Julia - I am trying to prioritise LDHEN but things just keep rushing 'urgently' into my in-boxes- both electrronic and physical - and there are just only so many hrs in the day! Rushing - promise I'll do it over the Christmas hol at the latest

I've finally received a letter today from Lloyds TSB confirming that we have
an LDHEN account open - I can now receive and pay in cheques; I can issue
invoices (the power is going to my head). What this actually this means is
that I will spend some time on Saturday trying to sort out the financial
mess I made by choosing to run the Symposium independently of a university.
If you came to the Symposium, you will hear from me soon about money matters
- either to send you an invoice, a receipt or to ask for payment ...
