Hi Everyone
What are your thoughts on confidentiality in connection with Learning Development?
We’re doing a poster presentation at the ALDinHE Conference on the topic of ‘confidentiality and learning’, and would be very grateful for any comments you have on this subject.
Confidentiality tends to be a fundamental aspect of our service in HE, but is there an evidence base that supports this as the best approach? Have any of you established any routine processes for communicating with tutors about individual students?
A thread last March, on the subject of ‘Referrals’, touched on the topic of confidentiality within LD, so a few of you posted some comments there. But we’d be interested in hearing some more viewpoints.
And if it’s not confidential (!) we’d love you to send us a copy of the confidentiality statement/policy of your LD service. The email to send any attachment to is [log in to unmask]
Many thanks
Carol
