Dear Michelle
I'm really pleased you like the idea, as I meant it seriously.
When I was a local authority careers adviser I attended a workshop at
conference once, titled 'Physician Heal Thyself', which allowed
careers advisers to discuss with colleagues their personal hopes and
aspirations for the future. It was a great session, and set me on a
path to selling books online, which I have done for some years now
parallel to my full and now part-timework in LD.
Given the funding and survival problems reported by LD colleagues
recently it could be a good time to be doing it, and I can think of at
least one LD colleague, with an active careers guidance background,
who is skilled enough to lead a session like this.
If I can help with this, count me in.
Colin
