Dear Colleagues
apologies for cross posting
We invite you to submit an example of excellent practice in learning literacies development as part of a JISC funded study entitled: Learning Literacies for a Digital Age (LLiDA) http://www.academy.gcal.ac.uk/llida/index.html . You might be a learning development officer, a librarian, an e-learning specialist, a teacher or learner, or anyone else with an interest in effective learning for a digital age. We hope to collect a range of snapshots that briefly capture the wide range of approaches and methods that are happening, and sometimes go unseen. We plan to select up to 30 of these snapshots to be described more fully and offer £100 to those that get selected.
The examplar pro-forma and guidelines can be downloaded from http://www.academy.gcal.ac.uk/llida/exemp.html . The pro-forma is only two sides of A4 and the guidelines for completing and submitting it are brief.
Your example will be included in a public wiki which will help to raise awareness of the idea or project you are reporting, and of learning literacies in general. It will also be used for analysis as part of the LLiDA investigation into how learning literacies are being supported in UK HE and FE.
If you have any queries please contact [log in to unmask] for further information. We think there is alot of excellent work going on and look forward to you telling us about it and having that work recognised.
Many thanks Best wishes
