Kate Ippolito (formerly Smith, from the LearnHigher CETL) asked me to
pass on to you all the news of the book that she has recently had
published. Kate got involved in writing the book through her
involvement with the LearnHigher CETL.
Details are:
Blundel, R. & Ippolito, K. (2008) Effective Organisational
Communication. Harlow: Pearson Education Ltd. 3rd Edition ISBN

Add it to your reading lists (if relevant) and recommend it to
students, colleagues and your library etc. It is aimed at
undergraduates, postgraduates and recent graduates and is being used as
a core text for a group of PGs doing a module called ‘Business
Communication and Negotiation’ at Reading University.
It would be relevant to any programme/module with learning outcomes
around critically evaluating organisational communication and developing
communication practices.
Congratulations Kate.
Best wishes
