Although it was very useful to see the summary of the responses I think
they need to be treated with some caution. Many of the responses reflected
personal views and were not institutional policies. Summarising the
comments under the institutional headings gives the impression that they
are the latter. Take Ann Barlow's response from my own university. While I
fully agree with everything Ann has said, especially the use of the
Graduate Prospects checklist, it was specifically her personal experience
and not an instituional policy (as we do not have one!).
