Plymouth University has a vacancy for a Learning Development Advisor to join the Learning Support and Wellbeing (LSW) team within Student Gateway.

You will contribute to the successful running and further development of Plymouth University's Learning Development service to enhance the student experience and engage students as partners with Plymouth University in learning, research and knowledge creation.
You will be responsible f or the provision of learning development knowledge and expertise, to deliver and develop a customer focussed, cost effective learning development service that supports the strategic direction of Learning Support & Wellbeing and the wider Student Gateway. To contribute to the successful running and further development of the Learning Development (LD) service at Plymouth University, advising and facilitating support to students and staff in the development of successful learning experiences.
You will report to the Learning Development Team Leader. You will have a degree or equivalent and preferably have undertaken an accredited course in teaching and learning in higher education. You will be an excellent professional who is able to demonstrate flair, flexibility and self-confidence. You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team. You will have experience of teaching or supporting learning in higher education, as well as an understanding of learning development and a record of success in relevant projects, publications or research.
Clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for this position.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week. Part time or job share will be considered.
