Dear All,
This is a really useful resource that collates a wealth of information.
On behalf of the ALDinHE Professional Development working group, we would like to thank Pauline Ridley for the work she has done in designing the format of the information on the website, and making it so accessible and navigable.
We would also like to thank Jemma Stock for her hard work on the epic task of converting all the job descriptions into the appropriate format for display on the website.
Many thanks,
Michelle

Subject: List of LD job descriptions now available on CPD website
Dear All,
As a results of a discussion on the list about pay grades and terms and
conditions across the sector a while ago we decided to compile a
cross-section of job descriptions advertised for learning developers (or
others with an explicit LD element). They were collected over several
months in 2012/2013.
It is not a scientific sample but we hope it will provide a useful
starting point if you need to draw up a JD or want to compare your post
with others - we also hope you might come up with other uses for the
material and will let us know about that. The JDs have been anonymised
(in case colleagues who got these jobs would not want their salary range
to be quite so accessible) and have also been broadly categorised to
help you search for specific roles.
The categorised list can be found here, on the ALDinHE Professional
Development website

Regards
Janette
