Hi Pauline,
There really are some very interesting replies to 'How do you describe what you do'. What are you intending to do with the posts? It would make for an interesting publication, particularly if we were to explore how discipline specific academic colleagues describe what they do and to compare. It might be interesting to see whether there are clear differences in where the emphasis is made.
