Also Paula Moran at QUB worked on a LearnHigher development project which aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different learning support interventions. I think this is on the LEarnHigher website but if not, Paula or Chris Keenan should be should be able to let you have a copy.

Well ... as a starter ... back in November, Paul Probyn at the The Royal Veterinary College asked a similar question and Linda Barkas replied that she had been involved in some research into 'effectiveness of learning support' - I wonder Linda, would you mind letting us know if your research is published yet and if it is publicly available?

I would be grateful if anyone could point me to available literature on these issues ('reliable qualitative and quantitative evidence for the effectiveness and value of learning development work in HEIs') or any other published material, for something I'm engaged with at the moment.
