Dear All,
We have just been tasked with producing two-page guides (!) by the end
of March (yes, this March) for discipline colleagues currently
re-drafting all their course and module specs. The idea is to highlight
key aspects of learning development, academic literacies, IBL,
creative/alternative assessments, designing plagiarism out of
assessment, assessment as process... and give quick tips in re
empowering practice in those areas - and advice on how to harness and
embed best practice in discipline teaching.
I was speaking about this with colleagues in ALDinHE and a couple of
them wonderfully offered to help - and I thought - hey - there is a
whole community out there who might also have something to share!
I am attaching my much more than two-page guides in re Notemaking and
Academic Reading - and very happy to share your guides if you would!
All best wishes,
Sandra
