Dear All,
The University of Manchester would like to invite colleagues who are currently supporting a peer assisted study/learning or supplemental instruction programme to the inaugural PASS National Centre meeting.
After several years of working collaboratively with the International Center for Supplemental Instruction at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, the University of Manchester was formally recognised as the UK National Centre for Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) in April 2009.
The role of the National Centre is to deliver training and provide support on aspects relating to the implementation, ongoing management and evaluation of schemes. The UK National Centre will facilitate a network of practitioners and provide opportunities to share practice.
The inaugural PASS National Centre meeting will take place on Wednesday 4th November at the Manchester Museum, the University of Manchester, please see attached agenda. The meeting will be an opportunity to meet up with others who have established schemes as well as those who are implementing pilots and explore opportunities for collaboration.
If you are interested in attending the meeting or would like more information about PASS and/or the National Centre please email [log in to unmask]
Best Wishes,
Marcia
