We have been using Wetpaint for a small research project:
http://www.wetpaint.com/page/Tell-Me-More It is free so does comes with
advertising but Wetpaint removed this for us when we explained it was
for educational use. It has a range of features but especially useful
for us is the opportunity to collaborate with organisations outside of
our own institution without issues of access.

Subject: Excellent video on wiki use in education
