Hi Helen,
Can't help you out with the website, but you might be interested in the work done at the University of Kent on student use of Turnitin as a tool to help them understand plagiarism - there's a paper on the LearnHigher website at http://www.learnhigher.ac.uk/Main-Content/LearnHigher-Contents/researchreports.htm, or contact Judy Cohen ([log in to unmask]).

Subject: On-line plagiarism software
Hi all,
I had a student asking for the web address of a site that allows students to run their written work through to check if they have plagiarized. I know tutors use software packages that do this kind of thing but I don't know of anything available (free) online. I am not sure I am in favour of such an approach but would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction so I can at least check it out.
