Hi Helen - at Brighton, dyslexia tutors are employed by the Disability
and Dyslexia Team which is part of the Welfare section of Student
Services.
We don't currently have a learning development unit but are working
towards establishment of a more coordinated approach to learning
development activities. Meanwhile most study support is embedded at
course or school level - though for historic reasons, Student Services
Welfare does offer a limited programme of study support workshops open
to all students.
Best wishes
Pauline
