Unfortunately not enough notice - but this looks very interesting. I
wondered if there might be enough interest within the LDHEN group for
this event to be re-run over in England/Wales.

Dear Member,
Individuals involved in peer-learning/peer-assisted learning
initiatives in
Trinity College Dublin (including myself!) and other Irish universities
are
hosting a Peer-Learning Symposium. The purpose is to promote peer
learning
as an effective means of supporting student learning and to encourage
participants to develop peer learning initiatives in their own
institutions.
It will be held on 10th of March in TCD and will combine an
introduction to
the theoretical context, a summary of lessons learnt from first-hand
experiences as well as practical collaborative activities where
participants
are grouped according to their academic or professional expertise.
The
keynote speaker will be Prof. Agnieszka Bron, Chair of Education at
the
Stockholm University, Sweden. Further details and registration are
available at
<http://www.tcd.ie/Germanic_Studies/htm/newsandevents/conferenceslecturessem
inars/peersymposium.htm>. Alternatively, you may contact Katrin
Eberbach,
Peer-Learning Coordinator, School of Languages, Literatures and
Cultural
Studies, Dept. of Germanic Studies, Trinity College, Dublin 2,
IRELAND.
Email: [log in to unmask] Phone: 00 353 1 896 3469.
I would appreciate it if you would inform potentially interested
individuals
in your institutions, as appropriate. Thank you for your cooperation
and
apologies if you have already received this notification.
Regards,
Tamara
