Dear Tamara and anyone who is interested in service level
statements,
Yes, we have service level statements at Exeter. Although the
mere mention of these is often enough to cause the gnashing of
teeth, our team has found them quite useful in setting
objectives and performance targets; understanding the
expectations that other services have of us; seeing whether our
performance depends on anything and generally clarifying where
we would like to be going ie our "aspirations". This is my
personal view and probably too woolly to be useful. Is there
anything specific you would like to know about service level
statements, Tamara?
