Dear John,
London Met does have Mentoring policy & mentoring guidelines - and these
are currently being reviewed by Dave Griffiths in our Centre for
Academic & Professional Development.
Within my own North Campus Learning Development space, I have recently
taken on four X 0.5 staff - and I have set up peer mentoring to help
them settle into the university. I seeded this with information from
Dave Griffiths - and I am hoping that the Team will write a paper on the
experience at a later date.
Interestingly Emma McLeod at Plymouth teaches a mentoring module - and
self assessment is part of the process. She has co-produced an
interesting paper that touches both on mentoring and self assessment in
the process.
