Hi,
I used to do quite a bit of work on this. Some of the techniques I picked up as my son attended drama classes but I also have two books which I find really helpful.
One is: van Emden, J. and Becker, L. (2004) Presentation skills for students. Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan. This has some excellent voice training exercises as well as guidance on different kinds of presentation skills.
The other is: Hindle, T. (1998) Making Presentations. London: Dorling Kindersley. It's one of the DK Essential Managers series and has the advantage of good photographs to illustrate.
Going back to my first source though - if you have a drama department they may well be able to give you some practical advice as well as directing you to texts.
All the best,
Ann
