Five-year appointment
The Centre for Scientific Literacy is a new Centre of Excellence in
Teaching and Learning (CETL) that is a collaboration between London
Metropolitan University and Liverpool Hope University to promote and
celebrate student literacy with a focus on how student writing is
assessed. Initially based in Psychology, it will rapidly extend to a
range of other disciplines.
The Writing Specialist will play a central role in delivering CETL
services to both students and staff, but will also be involved in
development, evaluation and pedagogic research. You will be an academic
with substantial experience of supporting and developing student writing
and/or student assessment. Knowledge of pedagogic research and
familiarity with the HEFCE/HE context are essential.
